Han Seok-woo, chief of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency’s unit in Libya, was abducted by four unidentified Libyan gunmen on his way home on Monday.
The official did not give no more details. But his remarks were construed as an indication that the government may have located the whereabouts of Han and begun negotiations to free the abducted.
