Samsung Electronics' Galaxy Note 4 and Apple Inc.'s iPhone 6 tied for first place in the world's best smartphones list released by a British consumer magazine Thursday. They shared the top spot with a score of 89 among 92 smartphones produced by 15 handset vendors around the world, according to the magazine, Which.
iPhone 6 Plus came in third with a score of 86, followed by iPhone 5S (64GB) with 85 and Galaxy Note 3 with 84. Galaxy S5, which went on sale about six months after Galaxy Note 3, failed to join the ranks of the top 5.
