2NE1 member CL named one of 100 most influential people by Time magazine

CL, a member of the South Korean girl group 2NE1, was named one of the world's 100 most influential people in 2015 by Time magazine.

CL became the third South Korean to join the ranks of the top 100 influential people on the globe selected by the U.S. weekly news magazine, after singer-actor Rain and K-pop superstar Psy.

Others on the list, released on the Time's website March 24, include Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Emma Watson, Rihanna, U.S. President Barack Obama, Sam Smith and Taylor Swift.

Lady Gaga was leading in the Time's online vote with a 4.5 percent approval rating, followed by CL (4.2 percent). Voting will continue until April 10.
