G-Dragon has largest number of followers on Instagram among hallyu stars

K-pop boy band Big Bang member G-Dragon had the largest number of followers on Instagram, an online mobile photo-sharing, video-sharing and social networking service, among hallyu (the Korean pop culture wave) stars. As of May, G-Dragon had 4.5 million followers on Instagram, while Taeyeon of Girls' Generation and Chanyeol of EXO were tied for second place with 4.1 million, according to data released by Instagram Thursday. Other EXO members Sehun, Baekhyun and Tao had 3.8 million, 3.5 million and 3.3 million, respectively. Indonesia had the largest number of hallyu star fans on Instagram, followed by Thailand, the United States, Brazil and Germany.
