South Koreans in their 20s use smartphones three hours and 44 minutes a day on average, a study said Friday. The study, based on a survey of 918 smartphone users in their 20s nationwide, was jointly conducted by the University Tomorrow Research Laboratory for the Twenties and Digieco, a research center affiliated with South Korea’s mobile carrier KT Corp. They spent about one-fifth of a day (excluding sleeping hours) on smartphones, the study said. Their sleeping hours averaged seven hours and two minutes, it said.
