Chinese version of Korean film "Hide and Seek" starts filming

A Chinese adaptation of Korean thriller film "Hide and Seek" is now underway of its principal photography. The Chinese version of Hide and Seek is the work of Village Roadshow Pictures Asia, the local production arm of Village Roadshow group.

The original Hide and Seek earned approximately US$ 35.6 million in Korea in 2013. The film is about a man in a belief of another family is living in his home, trying to piece together evidence to prove that he is right.

Hide and Seek received many praises in and out of Korea, for Son Hyun-joo (the main actor) and the co-actors' superb play and thrilling story.

The Chinese version is to be remade by Golden Horse winner Liu Jie, and the main roles played by Wallace Huo Jianhua, Qin Hailu, and Regina Wan Quian. The Chinese remake of the film is to be released in the latter half of this year.
