SEOUL -- The state-run hospital of Seoul National University (SNU) agreed to provide an operational model and medical information to a smart hospital to be built in Moscow as part of an agreement between South Korean and Russian leaders at their summit in June.
Seoul National University Bundang Hospital in Seongnam, the southern satellite city of Seoul, said Friday that CEO Jheon Sang-hoon signed a participation agreement this week in Moscow with the International Medical Cluster (IMC) foundation in the presence of Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.
The cluster with clinics, training centers and multi-profile research institutions is a medical infrastructure project to develop the health care ecosystem of Moscow. Jheon said that his hospital would try to complete negotiations by the end of March on the construction of a smart hospital in Skolkovo.
"The smart hospital in Moscow will be equipped with our world-class medical technology and operation know-how," Jheon was quoted as saying in a statement.
