SEOUL -- Jungkook, the youngest artist of BTS, was named on Billboard's top 100 popular song chart with two songs -- "3D" and "Seven." The 26-year-old has become the second K-pop solo artist to have two songs ranked in the top 5 of Billboard's list, after rapper Psy, who placed his global mega-hit "Gangnam Style" and its follow-up "Gentleman" on the chart.

Billboard's chart released on October 10 showed that 3D debuted at No. 5 while Seven ranked 57th on Hot 100, a weekly song chart that ranks the top 100 popular songs. Seven, which topped the singles chart on July 24, was listed on Hot 100 for 13 consecutive weeks. The solo single features electronic dance and acoustic guitar. Jungkook collaborated with American rapper Latto for the track.

3D, an R&B song released on September 29, topped the iTunes song charts in 100 regions including the United States, Britain, Canada, and Japan. The main vocalist of BTS collaborated with American rapper Jack Harlow for the R&B track.

Jungkook is the sixth member of BTS member to make his solo debut, after J-Hope, Jin, RM, Jimin, and Suga. In May 2023, he was appointed as the global ambassador of Calvin Klein, an American fashion brand known for its underwear and denim products. As the ambassador, the South Korean artist is promoting various fashion items and campaigns.
