BTS' Jungkook to release solo album for first time

SEOUL -- Jungkook, the youngest member of BTS, will release his very first solo album on November 3. The 26-year-old has collaborated with various global producers including British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, American producer Andrew Watt, and Shawn Mendes, a Canadian singer-songwriter. The album titled "GOLDEN" contains 11 English language-based songs.
 
Big Hit, the agency of BTS, uploaded the tracklist of GOLDEN. "Standing Next To You," the title track of the album was produced by Andrew Watt and Canadian producer Cirkut. The two producers participated in the production of Seven, Jungkook's debut song rolled out in July 2023. The South Korean artist collaborated with global artists including DJ Snake, a French producer and rapper for GOLDEN. The official teaser for Standing Next To You be released on November 2. 
 
Jungkook is the sixth BTS member to make his solo debut after J-Hope, Jin, RM, Jimin, and Suga. His debut song Seven was listed on Billboard's top 100 popular song chart for 12 consecutive weeks. The solo single features electronic dance and acoustic guitar. Jungkook collaborated with American rapper Latto for the track. 3D, an R&B song released on September 29, topped the iTunes song charts in 100 regions including the United States, Britain, Canada, and Japan. The main vocalist of BTS collaborated with American rapper Jack Harlow for the R&B track. 
 
In May 2023, Jungkook was selected as the global ambassador of Calvin Klein, an American fashion brand known for its underwear and denim products. As the ambassador, he is promoting various fashion items and campaigns.
