SEOUL -- American artist Justin Timberlake has collaborated with Jungkook, the youngest member of BTS for the remix version of "3D," a dance song by the South Korean singer released on September 29. The main vocalist of BTS worked with American rapper Jack Harlow for the original version with R&B features.

The song portrays Jungkook's hope to meet his loved one in "three dimensions," and always stay together. The original song ranked fifth on Hot 100, Billboard's weekly song chart that ranks the top 100 popular songs. It also topped the iTunes song charts in 100 regions including the United States, Britain, Canada, and Japan.

The recreated version, incorporating a retro vibe, was rolled out on November 24. "This remix enhances the 2000s vibe of the old school sound of the original version, infusing it with a retro charm," Big Hit Music said through Weverse, a fan community platform.

Jungkook is the sixth member of BTS to release his solo album. Earlier this month, his debut solo album "Golden" secured the second spot on Billboard's top 200 popular albums chart.

Meanwhile, Timberlake recently surprised fans with a revelation from Britney Spears' memoir, "The Woman In Me." In the book published in October 2023, Spears claimed that she experienced a pregnancy during her teenage years in a relationship with Timberlake but had to undergo an abortion because her ex-boyfriend opposed childbirth.
