Seoul Land in Gwacheon is preparing traditional games and experiential programs for families to enjoy during the Chuseok holiday.

According to Seoul Land on September 17, the '2026 Seoul Land Chuseok Festival' will take place from September 24 to 27.

This year's event focuses on games that were popular in childhood, emphasizing programs that can be enjoyed by all generations.

A highlight of the festival is 'Why Did You Come to Our House?' held in the World Square of Seoul Land. Participants will be divided into two teams to compete by singing and engaging in a traditional alley game where they bring over members of the opposing team through rock-paper-scissors.

In Samcheong-dong, the 'Squid Stationery Store' will also be in operation.

Visitors can experience making dalgona, playing ddakji, kicking jegi, and rolling a hoop. There will also be family programs such as writing Chuseok wishes.

The fall season content, 'K-Dopamine Ghost Festival,' will continue during the Chuseok period.

Characters from Korean folklore, such as the Grim Reaper, gumiho, and virgin ghost, will appear alongside Western ghost characters like Dracula, Frankenstein, and little ghosts.

Interactive programs will also attract attention, including 'Ghost Prank Calls,' 'K-Ghost Singing Contest,' and 'K-Random Play Dance.' A performance musical titled 'Gumiho and Ghost Party,' featuring gumiho and Western ghost characters, is also planned.

Families visiting Seoul Land during the Chuseok holiday are showing interest in experiencing both familiar and new games together.

A Seoul Land representative stated, “We have created a large playground where generations can laugh and enjoy together, beyond just traditional games. We hope visitors will experience a unique Chuseok at Seoul Land, where childhood games and K-ghosts come together.”
