Sky Labs recorded an upper limit increase after being named one of the 'Top 500 Health Tech Companies of 2026' by TIME magazine.

According to the Korea Exchange, as of 1:55 PM on the 21st, Sky Labs shares rose by 5,810 won (29.89%) to trade at 25,250 won.

Sky Labs was included in the list of 500 top health tech companies selected jointly by TIME and the global data firm Statista. It is the only South Korean company recognized in the medical device and wearable category.

TIME and Statista evaluated thousands of health tech companies worldwide based on financial performance, corporate reputation, and online engagement to select the 500 companies. The selected companies are categorized into six fields: artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics, diagnostics, medical information and management, medical devices and wearables, prevention, and telemedicine and treatment.

Sky Labs developed the CART BP pro, a ring-type non-invasive blood pressure monitor, in the medical device and wearable sector. The CART BP pro continuously measures blood pressure during daily activities and sleep. In South Korea, the device is covered by health insurance for 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.

The CART BP pro received medical device approval in 2023 as a 24-hour continuous blood pressure monitoring ring and was recognized by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service the following year for the existing medical practice of '24-hour continuous blood pressure monitoring.' In September of last year, the consumer version of the ring-type blood pressure monitor, CART BP, was also launched.

Sky Labs is expanding its measurement of biometric signals, starting with blood pressure, to include oxygen saturation and heart rate. The company stated, 'We plan to broaden our business scope by analyzing long-term accumulated biometric signals with AI for use in clinical research and medical data platforms.'
