Shinhan Card has launched a series of charitable activities aimed at fostering community engagement.

On October 14, Shinhan Card announced the hosting of 'Shinhan Card ESG Week,' where employees and local residents come together to practice environmental protection and sharing.

The event focused on responding to the climate crisis and promoting community coexistence, with participation from not only Shinhan Card employees but also citizens near its headquarters in Euljiro, Seoul.

On October 13, Shinhan Card invited Julian Quintart, a climate action ambassador for the European Union, to give a special lecture to employees on the role of financial institutions in addressing the climate crisis.

Shinhan Card also participated in the Shinhan Financial Group's eco-friendly campaign, 'Shin-Greun Challenge.' Items donated by employees, including tumblers and sports equipment, will be delivered to Goodwill Store and the eco-friendly recycling store Nonoshop.

On the same day, the 'Aram-in Win-Win Market' was held at Shinhan Card's headquarters to support social enterprises and small businesses. Organizations supporting people with disabilities, senior job support groups, and local food vendors participated, selling upcycled products and agricultural products. The event also included participation from Sambaeri, a village partnered with Shinhan Card.

Earlier, on October 8, Shinhan Card President Park Chang-hoon and over 100 executives and department heads participated in a volunteer activity to create 'Aram-in Dream Boxes' for long-term hospitalized children. The dream boxes, which include antibacterial supplies and stationery, will be delivered to children through the Children and Future Foundation.

A Shinhan Card representative stated, 'Through this event, we aim to spread a culture of practicing ESG in daily life and continue social contribution activities that involve employees, customers, and the community.'
