SK Innovation on Oct. 29 posted in its preliminary earnings a third-quarter operating profit of 3.7 trillion won ($2.77 billion), up 532.5 percent from a year earlier, driven by stronger fuel export margins and record lubricant earnings. Revenue rose 39.7 percent to 28.77 trillion won.
The result was the energy company's highest quarterly operating profit, topping the 3.49 trillion won it earned in the second quarter of 2026. Operating profit for the first nine months reached 9.35 trillion won, up from 153.3 billion won in the same period of 2025.
