Hyundai Mobis on Oct. 30 posted in its preliminary earnings filing an operating profit of 914.1 billion won ($683.3 million) for the quarter ended September, up 17.2 percent from a year earlier. Higher sales of electric vehicle parts in Europe and steady after-sales parts sales drove the increase. Revenue rose 4.6 percent to 15.72 trillion won.
Third-quarter operating profit returned to the level of 2024, when it was 908.6 billion won, after falling 14.1 percent in 2025 as tariff costs mounted. Net profit fell 35.7 percent to 598.4 billion won, its lowest third-quarter level in at least three years.
