Naver Cloud partners with marketing tech firm to offer cloud-based personalized marketing solution

SEOUL -- Naver Cloud, the cloud computing service wing of South Korea's web service giant Naver, joined hands with Obzen, a Seoul-based marketing technology company, to provide cloud-based super-personalized marketing solutions to small and medium-sized companies. Similar marketing techniques were used by large conglomerates with huge computing power and a vast amount of data.
Marketing technology, also known as "martech," is an effective sales tool based on AI, big data, consumer analytics, and cloud computing. The smart marketing tool allows companies to analyze their strengths and weaknesses as well as the demand of consumers. While ordinary marketing solutions offer broader sales ideas about a product or a brand, martech allows companies to personalize sales plans and narrow target consumer groups.
Obzen said that the company signed a memorandum of understanding with Naver Cloud. The martech company will provide three types of super-personalized marketing solutions -- digital marketing, big data, and AI-based solutions -- through Naver Cloud's cloud computing platform. With its solutions applied to the cloud platform, Obzen thinks that small and medium-sized companies will be able to gain access to super-personalized marketing solution services.
"Through the upgrade of cloud data box, we will accelerate the business innovation of companies and provide super-personalized marketing solution based on our cloud infrastructure and Obzen's verified technology," Naver Cloud's Executive Director Kim Tae-chang said in a statement on November 17.
