Ex-Chinese state councilor Tang to meet FM Yoon

Tang Jiaxuan, former Chinese state councilor and foreign minister, arrived in Seoul Wednesday for coordinations on a Seoul-Beijing summit slated for late this month, diplomatic sources said Thursday.

Tang is scheduled to meet with Foreign Minister Yoon Byung-se on Sunday, they said.

President Park Geun-hye will make a state visit to China from June 27 to 30. A summit meeting between Park and Chinese President Xi Jinping is slated for June 27.

The state visit will mark her second overseas trip since taking office in February, following her U.S. visit last month.
