Beginning on Aug. 4, North Korea's state-run airliner Koryo will resume a weekly flight to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Voice of America (VOA) reported Wednesday.

Quoting the Malaysian Reserve newspaper, the broadcaster said a Koryo flight will depart from an airport in Pyongyang every Saturday night.

The North Korean airliner inaugurated services to the Southeast Asian country in April 2011, but the flight was suspended because of low passenger occupancy rate.
