Songstress Fergie and actor Josh Duhamel welcomed thier first child

Songstress Fergie (38) and actor Josh Duhamel (40) welcomed their first child—a son—on Thursday, E! News reported. The couple’s newborn son now named Axl Jack Duhamel was born weighing at 7 lbs. 10oz. Axl was born a day earlier than the scheduled C-section day.

The couple not only has been prepping for a nursery, they have been prepping their fur baby, a female dachshund, with no other than the Dog Whisperer, Cesar Millan. Fergie tweeted, "@joshduhamel & I getting our doggie daughter ready for her new brother with @cesarmillan." And Josh Duhamel tweeted a day later, "Curious how your pets reacted when you brought home your first newborn child. Any advice?" With this very considerate gesture to prepping their pet before bring in the new member of the family, the couple’s fans have been praising how they are going to make excellent parents to their newborn son.

Fergie and Josh Duhamel began dating in September 2004 and announced their engagement in December 2007. The couple wedded in a Catholic ceremony on January 10, 2009.
