Asiana establishes sisterhood relations with Chinese primary school

Asiana Airlines said Wednesday that it has established sisterhood relations with the Shiyang Primary School in Dujiangyan, southwest China's Sichuan Province.

The establishment of relations with the school is part of the "China - Beautiful Classrooms" project Asiana, a South Korean flag carrier, has carried out with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) since March 2012.

Among those present at the ceremony held at the school were Wang Min, vice mayor of Dujiangyan; Chung Man-young, South Korean consul general in Chengdu; and Yoon Young-doo, president and CEO of Asiana.

The Shiyang Primary School is the 13th Chinese school to have sisterhood relations with the airline company.

Under the global social contribution project, Asiana has had sisterhood relations with primary schools in Chinese cities to and from which it operates flights.
