The two countries initialed an air services agreement (ASA) during a meeting held in Dushanbe, capital of Tajikistan, on April 28-29, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said.
Under the agreement, the two countries will operate up to two direct flights per week.
The two sides also agreed to conduct code-sharing on international flights, the ministry said.
"Tajikistan is a promising market for (South) Korean businesses as it has great development potential, including construction of infrastructure,“ the ministry said in a press release.
"The agreement will help the country expand exchanges with the central Asian nation and promote its Eurasia initiative,“ it said.
