Samsung Electronics said Sunday that it has developed faster WiFi (wireless fidelity) technology. The new technology offers 4.6 Gbps (gigabits per second), which is five times faster than the 866 Mbps (megabits per second) currently available, the South Korean company said. It enables smartphone users to send and receive a 1GB (giga byte) movie in just three seconds, Samsung said.
