Jeonbuk Hyundai's Lee Dong-gook voted 2014 K-League Classic MVP

Jeonbuk Hyundai Motor's attacker Lee Dong-gook has been voted the MVP of South Korea's top-tier K-League Classic, becoming the first three-time MVP award winner in league's history. He won 101 media votes to claim the 2014 MVP award to beat out FC Seou's Cha Du-ri and Suwon Samsung's Santos, who garnered only six and five votes, respectively. Lee finished the 2014 season with 13 goals and six assists in 31 matches, helping his club win the league title. Previously, he won the MVP award in 2009 and 2011.
