More than 3 MLB clubs eye top Korean shortstop Kang Jung-ho: US media

More than three MLB clubs are interested in power-hitting South Korean shortstop Kang Jung-ho, U.S. media reported on Monday (local time).

Among them are the Mets, Athletics and Giants, according to CBS Sports.

Kang is "drawing interest, no surprise considering the thin shortstop market, and the Mets, Athletics and Giants are among teams interested," Jon Heyman, a sportswriter for CBS Sports, said.  

Kang of the Nexen Heroes, a KBO club, is expected to be posted for the Majors this off season.
