Korean-American James Hahn jumped to 86th from 297th in the latest men's world golf rankings, after winning his first career PGA Tour victory in the Northern Trust Open golf tournament in Los Angeles, Sunday.

Hahn defeated Dustin Johnson of the United States on the third playoff hole, the par-3 14th, where he drained a 23-footer for birdie to win the tournament at Riviera Country Club in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles.

Bae Sang-mun, who tied for eighth place in the Northern Trust Open, moved up four notches to 75th place to become the highest-ranked South Korean on the list released on Monday.

Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland retained his top spot; while Bubba Watson of the United States placed second, edging out Henrik Stenson of Sweden.

Tiger Woods, who withdrew due to tightness in his back during the Farmers Insurance Open golf tournament in San Diego earlier this month, fell four spots to 70th.
