Ex-Japanese PM Yukio Hatoyama pays homage at former colonial prison in Seoul

Former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama lays a bunch of flowers in front of a cell, where independence fighter Yu Gwan-sun was imprisoned during the Japanese colonial rule of the Korean Peninsula (1910-1945), at the Seodaemun Prison History Hall in Seoul, capital of South Korea, Aug. 12. Saturday, Aug. 15, marks the 70th anniversary of Korea's independence from Japan's rule.
