SEOUL -- Girl band MAMAMOO member Hwasa will release her first solo album next month, according to her agency.
RBW Entertainment said Wednesday that the 23-year-old will release a solo album in February. Hwasa has collaborated with other artists to feature in their songs as a solo artist, but she has not yet released an album of her own.
MAMAMOO competes with TWICE and BLACK PINK to become the country's top girl band. It released a project mini-album "Yellow Flower" in March and "Red Moon", a summer-themed album, in July last year. More season-themed albums are to be released.
