Daishin Asset Trust has completed its application for designation as the project operator for the integrated reconstruction project in Yangji Village, Bundang, located in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.

On July 2, Daishin Asset Trust, a subsidiary of Daishin Securities, announced that it had finalized its application for the designation of the project operator for the Yangji Village integrated reconstruction project.

This application comes just 10 days after the collection of consent forms from residents began following a community briefing held in June. Daishin Asset Trust attributed the project's momentum to the strong interest and support from the members of the association.

Yangji Village is a prominent residential area in Bundang, situated near the Sunnae Station on the Bundang Line. The area comprises a total of 4,392 housing units, including Kumho 1 & 3 Complexes, Cheonggu 2 Complex, and Hanyang 1 & 2 Complexes, along with mixed-use developments and commercial spaces.

According to the special maintenance plan, the area is set to be redeveloped into a large-scale complex with a maximum height of 37 stories and approximately 6,839 housing units. As the largest integrated reconstruction project in Bundang, it is expected to become a landmark development in the region.

Once designated as the project operator, Daishin Asset Trust will proceed with subsequent steps, including the formation of a maintenance project committee and the selection of a construction company. The company plans to expedite the project based on its expertise in trust-based maintenance projects.

As the redevelopment of first-generation new towns, including Bundang, gains momentum, interest in trust-based maintenance projects that emphasize speed and expertise is also increasing.

Kim Song-kyu, CEO of Daishin Asset Trust, stated, "Given that Yangji Village is the largest reconstruction project in Bundang, the stability and smooth progress of the project are of utmost importance. We will do our best to ensure the project proceeds smoothly based on our accumulated experience in trust-based maintenance projects."
