SEOUL, July 03 (AJP) - NCT's Jaehyun will release his new solo single "99 Degrees" on July 10, SM Entertainment said Friday.

The single will be released at 6 p.m. KST across major platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and Melon. Jaehyun co-wrote and composed the track.

"99 Degrees" is a piano-led ballad that builds from a delicate opening into a fuller arrangement before settling back into Jaehyun's vocals for a quiet, intimate close.

The title refers to 99 degrees, one degree short of boiling point, as a metaphor for an incomplete state that becomes whole through love.

The release marks Jaehyun's latest solo output following his debut album "J" and tracks including "Unconditional," "Horizon" and "Forever Only."

Jaehyun is scheduled to hold his "JAEHYUN FAN-CON TOUR " in Taipei from July 4 to 5, just days ahead of the new single's release.
