NS Home Shopping is set to expand the sales of domestic agricultural products by connecting Homeplus Express's offline store network with Nonghyup's supply chain. Following its acquisition of Homeplus Express, NS Home Shopping is also intensifying efforts to combine its online sales capabilities with local distribution networks.

On July 29, NS Home Shopping announced that it has signed a cooperative agreement with Homeplus Express and Nonghyup Economic Holdings to ensure a stable supply and expanded sales channels for domestic agricultural products. The signing ceremony took place on July 28 at NS Home Shopping's headquarters in Pangyo, Seongnam.

Under this agreement, Nonghyup Economic Holdings will provide a stable supply of agricultural products sourced from production areas. NS Home Shopping will support sales through its TV home shopping and online/mobile channels, while Homeplus Express will increase the availability of Nonghyup agricultural products in its stores.

NS Home Shopping completed the payment for the acquisition of Homeplus Express on June 22 and finalized the business transfer process. Homeplus Express operates as a subsidiary established by NS Home Shopping and has a total of 286 stores nationwide, including 66 franchise locations.

NS Home Shopping plans to leverage its distribution capabilities, developed through the commercialization of agricultural, fishery, and livestock products and home shopping sales. The goal is to broaden the distribution channels for agricultural products both online and offline by combining Nonghyup's sourcing capabilities with Homeplus Express's community-based store network.

The first sales event utilizing this agreement will take place soon. Homeplus Express will launch a special sale starting July 30, offering discounts on local agricultural products such as peaches, apples, zucchini, and broccoli. NS Home Shopping will air a special broadcast on August 5 to introduce domestic agricultural products supplied by Nonghyup.

Choi Sang-mok, CEO of NS Home Shopping, stated, "By connecting Nonghyup Economic Holdings' excellent agricultural supply capabilities with NS Home Shopping's competitive TV home shopping, online, and mobile sales, along with Homeplus Express's community-focused offline distribution network, we aim to create new growth opportunities."
