"I thought I might be dreaming, so I slapped my face twenty times."
As interest grows in the Donghaeng Lottery's 1246th draw on October 17, the story of a winner from the 335th Pension Lottery 720+ has captured attention.
In a post on the Donghaeng Lottery winners' bulletin board on October 12, the winner of the 1st place (1 ticket) and 2nd place (4 tickets) in the 335th Pension Lottery 720+ shared, "While returning home from watching a movie with my family, I suddenly felt the urge to buy a lottery ticket, so I stopped at a nearby lottery retailer to purchase both the Pension Lottery and Lotto tickets. About ten days later, while I was home alone, I remembered the tickets I bought and decided to check if I had won."
The winner continued, "To my utter surprise, I had won 1st place, and since I bought them as a set, I also won 2nd place. I was so shocked that I couldn't believe it, and I thought I might be dreaming, so I slapped my face twenty times. When I felt the pain, I realized it wasn't a dream, but I still couldn't grasp it, so I held the ticket up to the sunlight to check again. I couldn't believe it, so I went to the Donghaeng Lottery website to verify the winning retailer. Only after confirming that the retailer where I bought my ticket was listed did I finally realize that I had truly won."
He added, "Afterward, I shared the news with my parents, and they hugged me tightly, shedding tears of joy. I always thought such great luck only happened to others, so I am still in disbelief and incredibly grateful that this moment has come to me."
The winner, who purchased the lottery ticket at a retailer in Jungwon-gu, Seongnam, responded to a question about a recent memorable dream, saying, "I recently had a dream where my late grandmother appeared in good health, which made me feel happy."
When asked what types of lottery tickets he usually buys, he replied, "I buy Lotto, Pension Lottery, and Spitto every week."
Regarding plans for the winnings, he stated, "First, I plan to save it and think carefully about how to use it."
Meanwhile, the winning numbers for the 1246th Lotto draw will be available for viewing after 8:35 PM today (17th).
