A2O Entertainment's key producer Lee Soo-man has introduced the rookie girl group A2O LITE, which has gained attention by topping music charts shortly after its debut. Interest is also growing in member Ayun's past as a child model.
Ayun, born in 2013, is a 13-year-old South Korean member who began her career as a child model before stepping into the music scene as part of A2O LITE on October 13.
A2O LITE consists of nine members: Young, Himeki, Bora, Siri, Rada, Mercy, Ayun, Oa, and Aiching. The group features members from various countries, including South Korea, China, Japan, Thailand, and the United States, with an average age of around 15.
Notably, Ayun is part of the 2013-born youngest line alongside Oa and Aiching. The oldest member, Young, was born in 2008, creating a five-year age gap between the oldest and youngest members.
A2O LITE made their stage debut at a showcase held at KINTEX in Goyang, South Korea, on October 12. The following day, they officially launched their debut single 'NEON' at 6 PM, marking the start of their activities.
'NEON' achieved remarkable success, reaching the top of the Melon 'Top 100' chart just 29 hours after its release on October 14. This accomplishment is considered exceptional for a rookie group with a debut song.
The production team behind the song has also attracted attention. Producer Yoo Young-jin, who has collaborated with Lee Soo-man since his time at SM Entertainment, worked alongside American producer Dem Jointz. The 3-minute and 28-second track features a strong bass line, a catchy chorus, and harmonies from multiple members.
