Lotte Construction has been recognized with the National Assembly's Land and Transportation Committee Chairman's Award at the '2026 Aju Economy Construction Awards' for its project 'Pyeongchon Lotte Castle Le Ciel,' which transforms a long-vacant site into a mixed-use residential space while enhancing public amenities for local residents.

The Pyeongchon Lotte Castle Le Ciel is planned as a four-building residential complex with a maximum height of 48 floors, located in Pyeongchon-dong, Anyang, Gyeonggi Province. This project utilizes a site that was previously designated for a bus terminal but remained undeveloped for an extended period.

The project focuses on integrating residential, commercial, and cultural functions with public amenities. Plans include a swimming pool and library on the public contribution site in front of the complex, expanding cultural and sports facilities accessible to both residents and the local community.

The residential units will feature various layouts ranging from 47 to 119 square meters. The design incorporates 3- and 4-bay layouts to optimize natural light and ventilation, while enhancing storage space with features like walk-in closets and pantries.

The exterior design differentiates the building shapes and facades, considering views and sunlight exposure in the arrangement of the towers. The project also takes into account the surrounding green spaces, including Pyeongchon Central Park and Jayu Park.

The top floor will include a residents-only sky lounge and rooftop garden, providing a space for relaxation and social interaction while offering views of the urban landscape and nearby natural scenery.

Additionally, the design incorporates smart home Internet of Things (IoT) technology, an Energy Management System (EEMS), high-performance ventilation, and fine dust reduction systems. These features aim to enhance residential convenience and energy efficiency.

Community facilities will include a fitness club, group exercise room, kids' café, children's library, private study rooms, and group study rooms. These spaces are strategically placed to accommodate various activities related to fitness, childcare, and learning within the complex.
