IPARK Hyundai Industrial Development is expanding its smart housing services by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics to support residents' health management, delivery, and waste collection.

On October 22, IPARK Hyundai Industrial Development announced plans to enhance residential services centered around AI-based healthcare and robotic living support. The company aims to establish an 'AI Life Solution' by integrating the AI and robotics technologies of its affiliates.

A key project is the 'Parkrosh Seoulwon,' which will be developed in the Seoul Nowon District's Wolgye-dong. This wellness-concept private rental housing will consist of two buildings with 768 units, directly owned and operated by IPARK Hyundai Industrial Development. There will be no age restrictions for residents, and the facility will feature a health management system that combines medical services, community engagement, and smart technologies.

The Asan Medical Center's health screening center will be introduced at Seoulwon to monitor residents' health status. If follow-up care is needed after screenings, a clinic will be available for outpatient services. Additionally, a partnership with Nowon Eulji University Hospital will provide emergency transport and medical referral services.

To manage residents' health, wearable devices and non-contact sensors will be utilized. These technologies will analyze biometric data such as heart rate, activity levels, and sleep patterns, while also detecting anomalies like falls. In case of emergencies, a 24-hour monitoring center will be on standby to respond.

The housing units will feature an interactive wall pad known as the 'AI Home Assistant,' which will offer services tailored to residents' health conditions and lifestyles. This includes support for adjusting lighting, temperature, and humidity, as well as scheduling reminders and community facility reservations.

Robotic living support services will also be expanded. Previously, at Gocheok I-Park, HDC Labs collaborated with a robotics company to pilot a 'helper robot' for residents.

The helper robot delivered items ordered from commercial facilities within the complex to residents' doorsteps and facilitated contactless receipt of external food deliveries. It also introduced a service where the robot autonomously transported waste bags placed outside residents' doors to the collection point.

HDC Labs is working on building an AI Life Solution that integrates its 'AI Home Agent' with technology from its robotics affiliate, Zeroworks, to support delivery, cleaning, and safety management.

An IPARK Hyundai Industrial Development representative stated, 'We will continue to enhance residential services that prioritize the safety and convenience of IPARK residents based on AI and digital technologies.'
