Kim Yu-na‘s combined world record of nearly 230-points logged in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics matches the top tier even when scaled to men’s results. Moreover, in her newest gala performance, Kim actually dressed like a man, complete with a hat, and skated to Michael Buble‘s ’All of Me,‘ in her fifth ice show held over the Children’s Day weekend.

However, of course, Kim jazzed it up in the way only she can, by using the hat to accentuate her signature ina bauer. In the second half of the show, Kim unveiled another new piece in a beautifully embellished costume -- to “Someone Like You,” by Adele showcasing Yu-na spin and yet flawless jumps, and as always, both World and Olympic champions were there to skate with Kim.

Evan Lysacek stunned the fans with a program they were already well familiar with -- el Tango de Roxanne, Kim‘s renowned short program from her junior and early senior years.

Current ladies’ world champion, Italian Carolina Kostner fascinated the fans in her first performance in Korea, while Russian pair Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxin Trankov paid tribute to late pop heroine Whitney Houston.

Korean skating hopefuls, Kim Haejin and Kim Jinseo proved that there‘s more to come in the future of Korea’s figure skating to fill Kim Yu-na‘s shoes.

And this year, the fans were introduced to a new twist on the ice --- acrobatics -- a cirque du soleil in skates.

Kim also invited fans to actually skate with her on the ice and thirteen lucky amateur skaters were drawn to open the stage with the cast.
