A team of scientists found the remains of one of the oldest dinosaur embryos in southwestern China. These fossil remains are said to be about 190 million years old belonging to huge species of dinosaurs called Lufengosaurus.

They were about 30 feet long with a long neck and full-fledged body which makes them look like real beast. It is one of the oldest dinosaurs even known.

This finding has given a good opportunity to the scientist to have a remarkable insight into the different stages of development of this huge and unique creature.

Prof. Robert Reisz, a paleontologist and leading researcher at the University of Toronto Mississauga, said that they are studying the embryo of this animal and also the various stages in its development. Thereafter, their plan is to do something which is never done before which infers to develop a growth trajectory of the embryo.

Although dinosaurs were once the largest animal on earth but due to their extinction, very less information is known about them. But, finding of such fossil fuels enabled them to gather valuable information about the dinosaurs.

According to Prof. Reisz, around three years ago they found some remains of bones in China and later on, after the meticulous analysis, it was concluded that they belong to same race of dinosaurs which are known as Lufengosaurus.

Their life came to an end due to a flood. The eggs of this dinosaur were kept in the nest being flooded by water. So, this made the embryos inside the egg die and then eventually, they were decayed with time.

Scientists unearthed and found approximately 200 bones. They explained the reason about it and said that maybe flood made the bones to get collected in a small area.

Researchers have tried to study these finding by applying different techniques and said that the finding of these fossils of bones has given them a rare insight into these creatures.

It is interesting to know that how these huge creatures were developed and after lot of efforts in terms of research, they found that these dinosaurs grew much faster than any other known species on earth. Although it is difficult to estimate their incubation period, it must be short.

Scientists also anticipated that these huge creatures might have developed very quickly in the early stages of their life as a very fast growth rate was seen in their embryos.
