Hallyu festival to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The state-run Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) said Friday that it will hold a hallyu (Korean wave) festival in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from Sept. 20 to 22.

The "Inspiring Korea Festival" will be held at Pavilion KL, the largest shopping mall in the Malaysian capital, the KTO said.

Hallyu stars, such as Korean boy band BIGSTAR and Bibap, a musical group, will give performances during the three-day event, it said.
