Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin of South Korea watched on Tuesday (local time) a soccer match between South Korea and Russia of the 2014 FIFA World Cup at the Arena Pantanal in Cuiaba, Brazil, while taking batting practice before the team's baseball game against the Colorado Rockies, according to news reports.

Ryu celebrated after seeing on a big video screen at Dodger Stadium South Korean forward Lee Keun-ho score the 1-0 lead goal in the 68th minute.

The Group H match ended in a 1-1 draw as Russia’s Alexander Kerzhakov scored the equalizer six minutes later.
