LG, a South Korean high tech giant, will then release the G3 smartphone in other parts of the world, such as Europe, Central Asia, Americas and China, from July, the company said.
The device will be sold through some 170 mobile carriers around the globe, it said.
The G3 has a 5.5-inch screen with screen quality four times that of standard high-definition resolution and features the world's first 2,560X1,440 Quad HD display.
