Kim Jae-joong, a member of K-pop band JYJ, has donated money to help a Thai fan who remained unconscious in a South Korean hospital after falling into a coma last month, his management agency said Wednesday.
Kim visited Yonsei University's Severance Hospital on Monday to console the father of Rapiphorn Nasaarn, a 25-year-old Thai fan who fell unconscious after suffering a sudden heart attack on March 24 at a music club in Seoul, according to C-JeS Entertainment.
Kim donated some 20 million won (17,900 US dollars) to help her family cover medical expenses. In Thailand, a fund-raising campaign has been launched for Nasaarn.
