Barun Law Firm and Korea Electric Power Veterans Association Sign MOU for Business Stability

Barun Law Firm, led by Representative Attorney Lee Dong-hoon, announced on July 2 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Electric Power Veterans Association, headed by President Lee In-kyu, to establish a legal support system aimed at ensuring stable business operations for the association and its affiliated companies while protecting member rights.

 

The agreement aims to foster close cooperation between the two organizations, leveraging Barun's specialized legal services to support the sound operation of the veterans association and its affiliated companies, ensuring stable business operations and broad protection of member rights.
 

Under the MOU, both parties will collaborate on various fronts, including: ▲ managing legal risks and providing legal advice related to the business operations of the veterans association's affiliated companies (including power facility maintenance and operation), ▲ offering legal services for contract negotiations, reviews, disputes, and litigation, ▲ supporting the establishment of compliance management systems, including governance, internal controls, and conflict of interest prevention, ▲ providing legal advice on personal data protection and consumer protection related to member welfare projects, and ▲ offering free legal consultations, training, and seminars to enhance the capabilities of employees and members.

 

Barun plans to operate a specialized advisory team composed of experts, considering the unique nature of the veterans association, which is made up of retired power industry professionals. This initiative aims to deliver top-tier legal services to the members of the association and its affiliated companies, creating an effective collaboration model that combines expertise in the power sector with legal proficiency.
