SEOUL, September 04 (AJP) - Samsung Electronics has won four innovation awards at IFA 2026 in Berlin, including the top design prize for its latest AI-powered air conditioner, the company said Friday.
The Bespoke AI WindFree Combo Pro wall-mounted air conditioner won both the top design award and an innovation award in the home appliance category. The product uses a motion radar sensor to detect users' location and movement and adjust airflow across seven modes.
Samsung's Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator also received a design innovation award. The refrigerator features a 32-inch display and combines its AI Vision food-recognition system with Google's Gemini to identify a wider range of food items and recommend recipes.
The Bespoke AI Hybrid four-door Kitchen Fit Max refrigerator received an innovation award in the home appliance category. Its hybrid cooling system combines a compressor with a Peltier semiconductor device when additional cooling is needed.
Samsung is showcasing its AI-powered consumer electronics at IFA 2026 under the theme "Your companion to AI Living" at Humboldt Carré in Berlin.
