IPARK Hyundai Industrial Development is expanding its smart home services by integrating artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and digital healthcare technologies into residential spaces.

On September 29, the company announced plans to apply AI and digital technologies at 'Parkrosh Seoul One' in Nowon-gu, Seoul, and in Cheonan I-Park City Phases 3 and 4.

Parkrosh Seoul One will consist of two buildings with 768 units, operated as private rental housing by IPARK Hyundai Industrial Development. The development uniquely combines residential living with healthcare services, allowing residents to receive health check-ups at the Seoul Asan Hospital health screening center located within the complex. Residents requiring ongoing care can also access clinic services linked to outpatient treatment.

The project will offer services that collect and analyze health data, such as heart rate, activity levels, and sleep patterns, using wearable devices. Non-contact sensors within the units will detect abnormal signs, such as falls, and connect to a 24-hour monitoring center for emergency alerts.

Additionally, a personalized management program utilizing health data will be implemented. Nurses and wellness experts will be on-site 24/7 to assist residents with exercise, diet, and rest based on their lifestyle and health status, along with offering programs like yoga and therapy.

AI-based smart home features will also be integrated. An AI home assistant, functioning as an interactive control panel, will adjust indoor environments such as lighting, temperature, and humidity based on residents' habits and health conditions. It will also support scheduling reminders, service requests, and community facility reservations.

Through a smart home application, residents can monitor their health status and receive alerts, with the option to share relevant information with caregivers. The complex will feature an AI-based smart monitoring system, along with robot delivery services, emergency calls, and biometric monitoring sensors. A facial recognition-based smart access system will enable contactless entry from the underground parking to the units.

IPARK Hyundai Industrial Development will also implement an AI-based smart home system in Cheonan I-Park City Phases 3 and 4, which will include control panels equipped with LLM (large language model) AI agents.

These AI control panels will allow residents to manage lighting, heating, and appliances through voice commands, as well as check family schedules, delivery notifications, community announcements, and facility reservations. The system will support executing multiple commands in succession, such as adjusting air conditioning and lighting based on weather conditions.

The AI system will utilize a hybrid approach, combining local LLM and cloud AI, and will feature a continuous conversation capability to process follow-up commands based on previous interactions.

An IPARK Hyundai Industrial Development representative stated, "We will continue to develop residential services that enhance the safety and convenience of I-Park residents through AI and digital technologies. Our goal is to strengthen I-Park's competitiveness as a lifestyle platform that connects residential functions with products, culture, and services."

Meanwhile, IPARK Hyundai Industrial Development announced on September 28 that it has signed a contract worth 1.453865 trillion won with Songpa Business Cluster PFV for the construction of urban support facilities in Block 1 of the Wirye New Town complex development project.
