IPARK Hyundai Development has moved to secure construction rights for the Nungok 3 District redevelopment project in Goyang, South Korea. The company participated solely in the bidding process for the construction contractor, with the association planning to select the contractor next month.

According to the maintenance industry on October 2, IPARK Hyundai Development submitted a proposal exclusively for the construction contractor selection bid for the Nungok 3 District redevelopment project. While three companies, including IPARK Hyundai Development, BS Hanyang, and Kolon Global, attended the site briefing, only IPARK Hyundai Development participated in the final bidding.

The association plans to designate IPARK Hyundai Development as the preferred negotiation partner and hold a general meeting to select the contractor on November 7. This bidding process follows a competitive bidding procedure and is reportedly being conducted for a negotiated contract.

The Nungok 3 District redevelopment involves the maintenance of approximately 89,271 square meters in the Todang-dong area of Deogyang-gu, Goyang City. The plan includes the construction of 1,258 housing units across 16 buildings, each with a maximum height of 36 stories, along with supporting facilities.

IPARK Hyundai Development has proposed to the association to pursue a mixed-use development near the station and to modify the maintenance plan to increase the number of housing units to about 2,000. This figure is not part of the currently confirmed project plan but is based on future modifications to the maintenance plan.

The proposed project name is 'IPARK Daegok Centrove.' The plan includes landscaping that connects to the nearby Jido Park and aims to create a total of over 4,000 housing units under the IPARK brand by linking the living areas of Nungok 5 District.

Nungok 3 District is one of the redevelopment sites within the Nungok Redevelopment Promotion District. With redevelopment projects also underway in nearby Nungok 2 and 5 Districts, significant changes to the residential environment in the area are anticipated. The planned number of housing units for Nungok 3 District is 1,258, while Nungok 5 District is currently at the management disposal approval stage.
