SK Intellix announced on June 19 that it has received a satisfactory rating for the eighth consecutive year in the 2026 Regular Proficiency Evaluation for Drinking Water conducted by the National Institute of Environmental Research under the Ministry of Environment.

This annual evaluation assesses the testing and analytical capabilities of drinking water quality inspection agencies to ensure the accuracy and reliability of results. It serves as an objective indicator of the agency's expertise.

In this evaluation, SK Intellix's Environmental Analysis Center received 'satisfactory' ratings across all 11 assessment criteria, including one type of microorganism, five heavy metals, and five general items, demonstrating its water quality analysis capabilities.

Established in 2019 at the Hwaseong campus, the Environmental Analysis Center of SK Intellix is a certified agency for drinking water quality testing designated by the Han River Basin Environmental Office. It conducts water quality tests for drinking water, bottled water, and groundwater, as well as air quality analysis, hygiene technology, and product development. The center is recognized as a specialized analysis hub that objectively verifies water quality data directly related to public safety.

Through this, SK Intellix has secured its own development and production capabilities for filters used in its SK Magic water purifiers, directly manufacturing carbon filters that affect water taste since 2020. The company also manages product quality through regular evaluations of purification performance.

A representative from the SK Intellix Environmental Analysis Center stated, "We are continuously working with in-house water sommeliers and research and development teams to ensure safe drinking water. We will continue to provide healthy water based on world-class analytical technology."
