Doosan Construction is strengthening its design competitiveness by expanding its focus from brand books to residential products, as well as space and color design. Following this year's international design awards, the company continues to receive accolades for its consumer-oriented products and complex designs.

According to Doosan Construction, as of September 28, the company is working to connect corporate and residential brand values through enhanced customer experiences by broadening the application of design to residential spaces, products, and brand identity.

This year, Doosan Construction's brand book series won two main awards at the 'Red Dot Design Award 2026' in the categories of Brand Design & Identity and Publishing & Print Media.

The brand book series includes the 'Corporate PR Book,' which encapsulates Doosan Construction's philosophy and business capabilities; the 'We’ve Book,' which introduces the core values of the residential brand We’ve; and the 'The Zenith Book,' which outlines the direction of its high-end brand. Each book is tailored in terms of paper, printing, processing, and editing to reflect the unique characteristics of the respective brands, while being presented as a cohesive series.

Doosan Construction has also received the GD (Good Design) mark for three consecutive years from the Good Design Award, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Design Promotion Agency, from 2023 to last year. The award categories included landscaping and play facilities, as well as everyday products and common spaces.

Last year, the company patented its 'Magic Sliding Bathroom Cabinet,' which eliminates the gap in the mirror surface and combines open storage space with a smart mirror display and sterilization features. This product is notable for improving both design elements and storage and hygiene functions.

Doosan Construction manages brand-specific colors and patterns separately. The company has developed exclusive patterns for We’ve and The Zenith, which have been registered for design and are currently being applied to complex exterior walls, entrance pillars, piloti, and brand materials. In collaboration with KCC, it has established a color guide and exclusive color palette to standardize the colors of exterior walls, underground parking lots, and auxiliary facilities. The design also considers the needs of the elderly and those with color vision deficiencies by incorporating aspects such as color brightness, saturation, and arrangement.

Public art within the complexes is utilized as part of the design. At 'Doosan We’ve The Zenith Ocean City,' five works by domestic public art artists have been installed alongside landscaping.

In a survey conducted by Real Estate 114 and Turnaround, which assessed the brand competitiveness of apartments among 3,388 consumers nationwide, 'We’ve The Zenith' ranked first in both high-end apartment brand recognition and regional representative brand categories. Last year, it placed second in both categories.

Among respondents familiar with the We’ve brand, 52.2% reported a positive change in their perception of the brand over the past two to three years. In non-metropolitan areas, the most common reason for this positive change, cited by 35.8% of respondents, was that they felt the brand's design and image had become more sophisticated.

Doosan Construction stated, “We plan to consistently apply our brand identity across communication areas, residential products, and space and color design, including the brand book.”
