  National Folk Museum to Host Lunar New Year Festival on Feb. 16 The National Folk Museum of Korea said it will hold its 2026 Lunar New Year festival, titled “Bok-It-Seol,” on Feb. 16 to mark Seollal, Korea’s traditional holiday.   Speedskater Kim Jun-ho Finishes 12th in Olympic 500 Meters, Still Seeking First Medal South Korea's top sprint speedskater Kim Jun-ho (Gangwon Provincial Office) again came up short of an Olympic medal in his fourth appearance at the Games.
